A couple from the United States has found a sense of peace in Bulgaria after leaving their home country and trying out life in two other places first. Maureen Thomson and Jeremy Myers, originally from Denver, decided to shake up their routine and seek adventure abroad. The area’s quiet charm and affordable lifestyle made it stand out from their past stops. Now, the couple enjoys hikes in the fresh air and simple days that feel far from their old “plain” routine back in the US.
