Mark Ronson Reveals His All-Time Favorite Track—And It’s Not “Uptown Funk”
Superstar producer Mark Ronson has just crowned his personal “number one” song—and surprisingly, it’s not his record-breaking hit Uptown Funk with Bruno Mars.
During a recent appearance on the EE Official Big Top 40 with Will Manning, Ronson blind-ranked five of his biggest tracks, including Valerie (with Amy Winehouse) and Uptown Funk. But the top spot went to his latest single, Suzanne, a collaboration with BRIT Award-winning artist RAYE.

After listening to Suzanne, Ronson declared, “Number one.”
Explaining his choice, he joked, “I’m changing the criteria each song—this time, I went with the newest release.” But he quickly turned serious, adding, “It’s my favorite song I’ve ever made. Ever.”
Here’s how Ronson ranked his hits:
- Suzanne (with RAYE)
- Uptown Funk (with Bruno Mars)
- Valerie (with Amy Winehouse)
- Electricity
- Ooh Wee
Manning playfully called out Ronson’s hesitation, saying, “You wanted to change the order—I can tell!” But Ronson stood firm: “It’s done. It’s in the books!”
Suzanne, released on June 13, 2025, marks Ronson’s latest musical evolution, following RAYE’s BRIT Album of the Year win earlier this year. Could this be the start of a new iconic duo? Fans are already buzzing.
